Introduction
Boldt Castle was originally built as a tribute to the wife of millionaire hotel magnate George C. Boldt.
Built on Heart Island on the St. Lawrence River in the midst of the beautiful 1000 Islands. It is an official port of entry to the United States so if you arrive from the Canadian side make sure you bring appropriate documentation.
The Castle and Yacht Club are now owned by the Thousand Islands Bridge Authority.
